Serving Nashville and surrounding communities. Provide quality bagpipe performances for weddings, funerals, memorials, birthdays, church or corporate functions, Scottish/Irish events, military, police, fire and rescue or any other occasion where quality bagpipe music will enhance the production value of your event.
I learned to play the bagpipes in 1971 with the St. Andrews Pipe Band of Detroit Michigan under the direction of Pipe Major David Martin and developed my craft with the band over the next 5-year period. In 1981, I joined the United States Air Force and started a 34-year military career in the Air Force and the Air Force Reserves. In 1994, I joined the McGuires Irish Pipe Band in Pensacola Florida performing in numerous parades and participated in a competition group over a 10-year period. In 2004, I helped form the Duncan McCall Pipe Band in Pensacola Florida and was chosen as Pipe Major of the band. We were a competition and concert band that had immense success in the competition circuit. During its successful run, the band performed with The Chieftains, The Mobile Symphony, the Celtic Group Mithril, and the University of Mobile Orchestra on several occasions as part of their annual Christmas Spectacular event. Duncan McCall Pipe Band had a great 11-year run until November of 2014 when the band ended. You can view many works of the Duncan McCall Pipe Band on YouTube to include listening to the bands album that was produced in 2009. It was officially released to the public in it's entirety in 2021. In 2012 I had the distinct honor and privilege to participate with the United States Air Force Reserve Pipe Band by performing at the White House and the Capitol Building for the President of the United States of America.
From 1996 to 2016 I competed in solo bagpiping competitions in the Southeastern region of the United States. I rose to the top of the Amateur ranks over that period of time winning many competiions.
Since 1994, I have performed as a professional bagpiper at more than 400 events that include funerals, memorial ceremonies, weddings, birthday parties, St. Patricks Day celebrations, Robert Burns Night dinner parties, church services, Christmas Parties and numerous other occasions. For the military I have piped at many funerals, memorial services, retirements, Change of Command ceremonies, Order of the Sword ceremony, Military Working Dog (MWD) memorials, memorial 5K runs, leadership conferences, graduations and other military functions.
I am a resident of the city of Spring Hill, Tennessee and an active member and piper of the Nashville Pipes and Drums. Our band performs all over the city and the surrounding communities of Nashville and is a highly respected competition band in the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association.
